According to KickOff Magezine, the National Soccer League(NSL) on Tuesday, the 9th of July 2024, sent an urgent notice/letter to all the clubs in the top-tier league, to put hold on printing the Dstv Premiership logo on their shirts for next season until further notice.
The letter seen by KickOff titled:’Immediate Hold on Dstv Premiership logo on kit until further notice’ was received by all the 16 clubs in the league.
“NSL circular informed Premier Division clubs to put on hold process of finalizing their kit as the league is finalizing a new version of the Premier Division logo to be used on the right side of the jersey this season,” the NSL letter said.
NSL further encouraged the member clubs to continue to submit their kits to the Football Department in time for the new season.
“The circular relates only to the logo to be placed on the right shoulder of the jersey and does not mean Member clubs should not submit their kit to Football Department timeously,” the letter concludes.
Meanwhile, KickOff Magezine sources feel PSL is currently negotiating with a new sponsor to replace Dstv as the league sponsor from this upcoming season.

This comes after the French company Vivinde SE is in the process of buying Multichoice, and has been doing it since the year 2020, and is reported to be owning around 45% of the company that owns Dstv and Showmax.
CAF president, Dr Patrice Motsepe, is said to be also part of the company and is likely to own a majority share of the Multichoice when the deal goes through.
That would be great, DStv doesn’t care about their subscribers, they are only looking for their pockets , their, the demands are very high, maybe another sponsor will be much better
