Orlando Pirates star is set to leave the club again ahead of the 2024-2025 season, as the club continues to build a competitive squad for next season.
The Buccaneers currently have four goalkeepers in the first team, namely, Sipho Chaine, Melusi Buthelezi, Zoey Monyepao, and Siphamandla Gumede.

With Monyepao expected to be part of the reserve team in the Dstv Diski Challenge and both Chaine and Buthelezi expected to battle for the number one spot in the first-team, the club is likely to loan Gumede according to Idiski Times.
The publication reported that despite struggling for game time away at Orbit College, the former Dondol Stars goalkeeper is set to go out on loan again.
Gumede has been training alone ever since making a return to Pirates, and is not in the club’s plans this season, and has in turn not travelled with the squad to Spain for the second part of the 2024-2025 pre-season.
