Amakhosi is expected to make changes to the club’s playing squad ahead of next season, as the club continues to look to end 10-plus years trophyless run that started back in the season 2014-2015 season.

After releasing Keagan Dolly, Sfiso Hlanti, Efmamjjasond Gonzalez, Njabulo Ngcobo, and Siyethemba Sithebe at the end of their contracts last month, the club has hit the market and look to add right and left fullbacks.
Pirates left fullback, Bongani Sam is said to have completed a move to the club and has travelled with the first team to Instabul, Turkey, for the first part of the 2024-2025 pre-season.
Meanwhile, the club is said to have submitted a bid for a Polokwane City right fullback, Thabang Matuludi, according to KickOff source.
“Chiefs are keen to sign Thabang Matuludi. It’s very interesting if Polokwane City will accept their offer for Matuludi. The owner of Polokwane City is a difficult person to deal with regarding the issue of selling players,” KickOff source said.
