Dillon Sheppard lands a new role at Kaizer Chiefs ahead of the 2024-2025 season, as the club is set to announce a new first-team technical team.
After a ninth disappointing season, Amakhosi hierarchy has yet again decided to ring changes to both the technical team and playing squad.

In the past, the hierarchy will make changes, but leave a few of the technical team members to form a part of a new technical team, which the club has decided to abandon this time.
The incoming head coach, Nasreddine Nabi, will bring his own team, which consists of six personnel, including him, leaving the members of the previous technical team remaining at the uncertain of their futures at the club.
After Cavin Johnson was shown the exit doors, the club decided to demote Sheppard to be an assistant in the club’s academy, according to Austin Ditlhobolo.
“The former Bidvest Wits academy coach is now assisting in the Kaizer Chiefs academy,” Ditlhobolo stated on Facebook.

Sheppard will be joined by goalkeeper coach Aubrey Mathibe who is also demoted to the Academy.
Meanwhile, the club is set to announce Nabi and his technical team today in Instabul, Turkey where they are preparing for the upcoming season.
