During the 2023-2024 season, Amakhosi made a number of changes to their first-team technical team, which started with Molefi Ntseki as the head coach, Arthur Zwane and Dillon Sheppard as his assistants, Aubrey Mathibe and Rainer Dinkelacker as goalkeeper coaches, and Muzi Maluleke.

Mid-way the season, the club decided to demote Zwane and fire Ntseki and replaced him with Head of Youth and Development, Cavin Johnson on an interim basis until the end of the season.
The move didn’t yield any results, as the club had its worst season in the club’s history, leading to the sacking of Johnson who will be replaced by Zwane as the head of Youth and Development.
With the club set for a new technical team led by Nasreddine Nabi as the head coach, the club has decided to demote goalkeeper coach Mathibe to academy goalkeeper coach as reported by Austin Ditlhobolo.
“Aubrey Mathibe is now serving as an academy goalkeeper coach at Kaizer Chiefs,” Ditlhobolo stated on Facebook.
Meanwhile, the club’s new first-team goalkeeper coach, Ilyes Mzoighi, is with the first team in Instabul, Turkey where the club will be for the next 18 days for Pre-season.
