AmaZulu FC and Stellenbosch FC are reportedly set to battle for Kaizer Chiefs’ star ahead of the 2024-2025 season.
After a disappointing 2023-2024 season, Amakhosi hierarchy has decided to rebuild the squad for the fourth consecutive year, as the club continues to look for glory days.

The club, under the guidance of incoming head coach Nasreddine Nabi, decided to partways with Keagan Dolly, Sfiso Hlanti, Efmamjjasond Gonzalez, Njabulo Ngcobo, and Siyethemba Sithebe at the end of their respective contracts with the club.
Naturena-based club is expected to see more players leave the club before the start of next season, as a number of players face uncertain times despite traveling to Turkey with the rest of the squad for pre-season.
One of the players facing uncertain times at the club is Sabelo Radebe, who is looking to impress Nabi and his technical team during the pre-season, as failure to could lead to the player leaving Chiefs.
However, the 24-year-old is not short of suitors should he have to leave the Glamour Boys, as both Usuthu and Stellies are interested in signing Chiefs development graduate.

Meanwhile, Chiefs has signed left fullback Bongani Sam from arch-rivals Orlando Pirates, and the player has traveled with the squad for pre-season in Instabul, Turkey.
