Mamelodi Sundowns lands AmaZulu FC starlet ahead of the 2024-2025 season, as the club continues to build squad.
Ahead of the 2024-2025 season, the Brazilians are set to make changes to the club’s playing squads and technical teams in different divisions at the club.

The club parted ways with head coach Rulani Mokwena, along with five players, namely, Bongani Zungu, Brian Mandela Onyango, Gaston Sirino, Thabiso Kutumela, and Junior Mendieta.
Sundowns’ hierarchy led by Flemming Berg brought back Steve Komphela from Golden Arrows after a single season away from Chloorkop.
Meanwhile, the club has completed their first signing of the window, as they have signed young goalkeeper, Nqobani Biyela from Usuthu’s youth team ahead of the next season as confirmed by one of South Africa’s leading journalists, Austin Ditlhobolo.
“Mamelodi Sundowns sign AmaZulu FC goalkeeper,” Ditlhobolo stated on his Facebook account.
The youngster will be part of the club’s academy and is likely to feature in the Gauteng Development League and Dstv Diski Challenge.
“Nqobani Biyela has joined Masandawana’s academy from the Usuthu youth team,” Ditlhobolo concluded.

Biyela is likely to be joined by Moreirense star attacker Kobamelo Kodisang in joining the club, as the South African international is on the verge of completing a move to Pretoria ahead of next season.
