Mamelodi Sundowns star attacker Thembinkosi Lorch breaks his silence after the departure of Rulani Mokwena.
Lorch joined Sundowns on a two-and-half year deal with an option to extend for further year from Orlando Pirates in January this year.

After an average half a season at Chloorkop, which saw the 30-year-old lift his first league title, while scoring six goals and two assists in 20 matches, Lorch is said to have been one of the reasons for Mokwena’s departure.
It is said that the 37-year-old tactician had a fallout with the club’s hierarchy led by Sporting Director Flemming Berg and the signing of the ex-Pirates star being one of the disagreements.
However, despite the rumours of him following Mokwena out of the club, Lorch is focused on achieving goals he has set for himself when he joined Masandawana back in January this year.
The South African international set himself of winning the league(which he has done) and CAF Champions League with Sundowns before his time at the club ends, as reported by Austin Ditlhobolo on his Facebook page
“Ke tlile ko [I came to] Sundowns ke tseba gore ke batla eng [knowing exactly what I wanted],” Lorch said.
“Ntho ya pele e ne ke e batla e ne le ho wina [the first thing that I wanted was to win the] league, le [and the] Champions League.
“Ntho e ke batlang nou ke [What I want now is the] Champions League.”
Lorch will have to fight for his place at the club should he want to have a chance to fight for his goal, as the club is set for a new technical team next season and his average return in goals in his first six months might go against him.
