Former Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates star joins Tanzanian Premier League side Simba SC ahead of the 2024-2025 season.
After an impressive unbeaten season in Morocco(Botola) which led to league double as the assistant coach of Raja Casablanca under Josef Zinnbauer, Fadlu Davids joins Simba SC as the head coach for the next two seasons.

The former Maritzburg United attacker and coach selected to have an all South African technical team, with former Sundowns and Pirates star goalkeeper Wayne Sandilands among them.
Sandilands joins the club as a goalkeeper coach after Davids failed to get his desired man for the post, Sjoerd Woudenberg who decided to stay in Indonesia with his current club, Dewa United according to one of African leading journalists, Micky Jnr.
“Wayne Sandilands signs in as new goalkeeper coach of Simba SC. Sjoerd Woudenberg is preferred, but he chose to stay in Indonesia,” Micky Jnr stated on X.

Sandilands has penned a two-year deal like other parts of the technical team, which includes Darian Wilken as the assistant coach, Riedoh Berdien as the fitness coach, and Mueez Kajee as perfomance analyst.
