Their departures left vacant positions that the club needs to fill ahead of the 2024-2025 season, and one of them is about to be filled ahead of the club’s drip to Austria today.
According to Idiski Times, Sundowns is set to sign former now-defunct Moroka Swallows performance analyst Yardaan Valodia to fill the void left by the departure of Dayle Solomon.
“iDiski Times understands that Sundowns are set to rope in Valodia, who will be a performance analyst at the club replacing Solomons,” the publication wrote.
The 19-year-old is set to land the job after the recommendations of Steve Komphela, whom he worked under at Swallows, and is said to have played a key role in helping The Birds avoid relegation last season despite being cash-stripped.
