Former Sundowns and Chiefs striker Katlego Mphela told Soccer Laduma that Amakhosi should look to sign expirenced players from abroad like Sirino to help the club to return to trophies winning days.
“Sirino is quality and a free agent. He is very good and has experience of winning things. He can help them a lot in that regard,” Mphela said.
Killer, as he is known for his goal-scoring prowess during his playing days, went on to emphasize the importance of Chiefs signing players who have experience in winning trophies.
“Yes, they can have the youth as I have said with experienced players, but the most important thing is to look at signing players who are winners at heart. Once you do that, half the job of fighting for trophies is done. They need that this season,” Mphela concluded.
Meanwhile, the Naturena-based club continues to prepare for next season in Turkey under the watchful eye of a new technical team led by Nasreddine Nabi.
