Sirino was among the first players to leave the club at the end of the season alongside Bongani Zungu, Brian Mandela Onyango, and Thabiso Kutumela.

The Uruguayan left the Brazilians after seven successful seasons that saw him lift 12 trophies, including seven league titles in as many seasons.

However, less than a month after parting ways with Sundowns, Sirino hints at a sensation return to Chloorkop, with the club’s fans behind it.

Sundowns fans have started a movement on social media called ‘Bring Back Sirino’, which has gained momentum on different social media platforms.

The movement has reached the 33-year-old’s social media platforms, leading to the attacker sharing some of the plea fans have made to the club to bring him back on his Instagram story, @sirino_charango.

“Mamelodi Sundowns FC, please bring back Gaston Sirino. We need him,” @thereal_trapc_089 posted on his Instagram story.

“We (are) pushing it as Mamelodi Sundowns fans as we say #BringBackSirino,” @disnormalmpho stated.
