Mamelodi Sundowns defender is set to stay at the club ahead of next season after the departure of Rulani Mokwena.
Following a difficult season under the then head coach, Mokwena, Rushine De Reuck was expected to leave the club going into next season despite signing a long-term heading into the 2023-2024 season.

He started last season on the doctor’s table after suffering a horrible knee injury during the pre-season in the Netherlands, forcing him to miss more than three months of action.
Upon returning, the 28-year-old lost his place in the heart of defence of both the Brazilians and South African national team and managed to play only five games in the entire season.
The former Maritzburg United defender was seemingly heading for an exit until the club decided to partways with Mokwena after a fallout, according to KickOff Magezine.
The publication reports that the player’s change of heart is due to the fact of the 37-year-old tactician leaving the club, as he was not in his plans going forward.
