At some point, the club saw the youngster as the heir to star striker, Peter Shalulile, due to his scoring prowess in the reserve team, and was expected to follow in the footsteps of Percy Tau, Sphelele Mkhulise, and Keletso Makgalwa in making an impact in the first-team.
