Cape Town Spurs FC is said to have placed a R6 million price tag on star striker Ashley Cupido amid reported interest from Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, and Mamelodi Sundowns.
Cupido has been one of the talked about strikers in the South African football fraternity ever since he registered 15 goals in the Motsepe Foundation Championship to help Spurs earn promotion to the first team during 2022-2023 season.

Despite failing to help Spurs retain the top division status, the 23-year-old is one of the most sought-after players in the South African football fraternity.
In the last six months, Sundowns, Chiefs, and Pirates have all been linked with the South African international, prompting the Urban Warriors to put a hefty price tag on his head.
After registering seven goals this past season, Spurs has received an offer for the striker from an unnamed club, which the Cape Town-based club turned down and demanded around R6 million for the striker, according to KickOff.
He is among the Spurs whom the club is keen to partways with at the right price, as they have also rejected Chiefs’ Offer for Asanele Velebayi due to the offer not meeting the club’s price tag.

The 21-year-old has since involved his parents to try to force the move to Naturena like his former teammate, Dortley did last month before he joined Amakhosi.
Chiefs’ offer for Dortley was rejected and in turn he involved his parents which led to the move to happen.
