The reason Kaizer Chiefs’ matches against the University of Pretoria FC this past Saturday were postponed is revealed.
Amakhosi were poised to face AmaTuks at the University of Pretoria Sports Campus in the latest round of Gauteng Development League after a mixed outing against Highlands Park this past weekend.

Chiefs managed to beat the former first division club 4-0 and 3-0 in the under-13 and 15 matches at Naturena last weekend while also suffering 3-2 and 4-0 defeats in the under-19 and 17 divisions.
However, the youngsters will have to wait for more than a week to return to the field of play, as the club took to their website to announce that their away match against Tuks this weekend is postponed.
“This coming Saturday’s scheduled fixtures against Tuks at the University of Pretoria Sports Campus have been postponed because the Tshwane-based team will be in the Netherlands,” the club stated on their youth website.
Meanwhile, Chiefs continues to chase first place Mamelodi Sundowns in the collective log table, as the league is nearing the knockout stage.
