Under the guidance of new head coach Nasreddine Nabi and his technical team, Chiefs players are playing high calibre friendly matches to prepare for the new season.
Their latest friendly match saw them take on former top division club Highlands Park at the iconic FNB Stadium on Monday as reported by Micky Jnr.
One of the leading journalists in African football reported that the Naturena-based club managed to pick up a 2-0 victory thanks to a brace from Chivaviro.
“Kaizer Chiefs played a friendly match against Highlands Park today,” Micky Jnr stated on X.
“They won 2-0 at the FNB Stadium. Ranga Chivaviro scored all the two goals.”
Amakhosi’s new signing Inacio Miguel also made his unofficial debut for the club, after coming on as a second half substitute.
“New defender: Inácio Miguel played but came in during the second half,” Micky concluded.

Chiefs is set to play more friendly matches before the league starts mid next month.
They first play Marumo Gallants at Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein on the 14th of September with kick-off set for 5h30 pm SA time.
