The Naturena-based club has seen multiple of their bids and inquiries about a number of players either rejected or met with hefty price tag to later see their targets join other clubs.
In this transfer window alone, Amakhosi has seen bids and inquiries for players like Asanele Velebayi, Fiston Mayele, Ashley Cupido, Elias Mokwana, and Khanyisa Mayo turned down with some of them later joining other clubs.
The lighting has again struck at the same place, as the Naturena-based club has lost another target in Stellenbosch FC winger Antonio Van Wyk.
Van Wyk is on the verge of completing a move to Austrian side SV Ried despite Chiefs inquiring about his services earlier this window as reported by SABC Sport.
“It’s understood Van Wyk was in the final year of his contract with Stellies and had attracted interest from Kaizer Chiefs, who were hoping to snap him up as a future prospect either this season or at the end of his current deal,” the publication stated.

However, the 22-year-old’s move is subject to passing the medical tests and also given a work visa to be able to travel to Europe.
