Orlando Pirates is said to have placed a R30 million price-tag on star attacker amid interest from European clubs.
In recent times, a number of Pirates players have been linked with European clubs, as the club continues to dominate South African football cup competitions.

After the likes of Relebohile Mofokeng, Patrick Maswanganyi, and Kabelo Dlamini were linked with a host of European clubs earlier, this transfer window, lanky striker Evidence Makgopa joins the list.
According to Soccer Laduma, clubs from North Africa, Denmark, and Belgium are interested in signing South African international.
However, the Buccaneers are not prepared to partways with the Makgopa for anything below R30 million.
“They have finally put a price on his head now. They are looking at no less than R30 million for him to move away from Pirates,” the publication stated.
“At first, they didn’t want him to leave, but they feel like this could be the right time for them to cash in on him.
“Now, they put up the price. They are just waiting for the teams to make their official offers, and then negotiations can start.”

Meanwhile, the club is expected to let goalkeeper Sphamandla Gumede leave on loan for the season 2024-2025.
He is expected to join the club’s feeder team Pele Pele FC in the third division of South African football.
