Kaizer Chiefs is said to be targeting Stellenbosch star, as Amakhosi continues to rebuild the club’s squad ahead of the new season.
This past weekend, Chiefs added Bongani Sam from Orlando Pirates and Gaston Sirino on free transfer to their squad, having earlier in the transfer window added Fiacre Ntwari from TS Galaxy and Rushwin Dortley from Cape Town Spurs.

Despite adding Dortley, the club and new head coach Nasreddine Nabi appear to be looking to bolster their central defence even more, with former trialist Ismael Toure of Stellenbosch the prime target according to Soccer Laduma.
“Ismael Toure is still a target of a few clubs in the league, and Kaizer Chiefs are one of the teams that have shown interest,” Soccer Laduma source stated.
“He is a player who has been on the radar of big clubs such as (Orlando) Pirates and (Mamelodi) Sundowns.
“If all goes according to plan, you can expect talks from Chiefs for the defender, although Stellenbosch have made their intentions clear about not wanting to lose their best players in this transfer window.”
