Mamelodi Sundowns is said to be likely to meet the R15 million payout clause in the contract of Stellenbosch FC star striker Iqraam Rayners.
Rayners has been one of the most lethal players in Africa ever since moving back to the Stellies from SuperSport United back in January 2023.

He has been involved in 48 goals in 67 matches since his return to the club, while also attracting several clubs across the club but mostly in Africa.
However, despite interest from clubs like Sundowns, Wydad Athletic Club, and Raja Club Athletic, the 28-year-old remains at the Winelands club due to a hefty buy-out clause in his contract.
According to Idiski Times in its latest digital newspaper, Rayners has a buy-out clause of around R15 million and should be met in full if they want to take the player away from the club.
“The likes of Raja Club Athletic and Wydad Athletic Club were said to also monitoring his situation last season, and it’s since been revealed to Idiski Times that the player has a buy-out clause in his contract,” Idiski Times stated.
“Sources have indicated that several clubs have already sounded out Rayners via Stellenbosch, who have insisted that his buy-out clause, said to be in excess of R15 million and should be met.”

With the Brazilians said to be considering meeting the buy-out clause to take the South African international to Chloorkop, Masandawana has also stepped up pursuit for Rayners’ teammate Jayden Adams.
Sundowns is said to be looking to go all out for the signature of the 23-year-old middlefielder this transfer window.
