Rulani Mokwena and Wydad Athletic Club are said to be looking to up their pursuit to sign Mamelodi Sundowns star ahead of the new season.
Upon his arrival in Casablanca, Morroco, last month, Mokwena was given the final decision when it comes to signing players, which has seen the 37-year-old target his former Sundowns player, Divine Lunga according to Soccer Laduma.

However, Wydad and Mokwena could sign the Zimbabwean international and not get to register him due to the FIFA transfer ban the African giants are currently under.
“There are about three players that (Rulani) Mokwena has indicated that he wants at Wydad Casablanca. One of them is Divine (Lunga),” Soccer Laduma source stated.
“But even if Sundowns would want to let him go, it will depend on whether Wydad will be able to sign and register players as they are facing a possible ban from FIFA.
“They can also sign him and just wait to register him, but yes, Rulani has made it clear that he would love to have Divine playing for him again in Morocco.”

The former Lamontville Golden Arrows left fullback is currently fighting for his place at Chloorkop alongside five players with Aubrey Modiba and Abdelmounaim Boutouil leading the pack for the role.
The fact that he has to battle for the spot and that he was playing under Mokwena at Sundowns could likely see him head to North Africa.
