But lately, the club has struggled to keep some of its best young players in the development structures.
Kaizer Chiefs starlets like Bafana Zitha, Puso Dithejane, and Omega Mdaka have left the club to join Betway Premiership rivals without kicking a ball for the first-team.
A feat that has repeated itself again, as Chiefs has lost one of the best players in the club’s development in the recent history, Kamohelo Dhlamini to Cape Town City FC ahead of the 2024-2025 season according to Football Stage.
“Kamohelo ‘Nzingiliza’ Dhlamini has joined the Cape Town City DDC(Dstv Diski Challenge) team from Kaizer Chiefs,” Football Stage stated.
“A top acquisition by the Citizens.”
Nzingiliza leaves his brother, Lebohang Dhlamini, at Naturena, as he is poised to start a new life in the Cape.
