Cape Town City FC boss John Comitis highlights the importance of Chiefs and Pirates winning the league(Betway Premiership) this season, as it helps the league and clubs financially.

Speaking to Andile Ncube on the Metro FM show Sports Night Amplified(SNAWA), Comitis discussed and backed the Soweto giants to end their long league drought, as it will help the clubs in the league to fill stadiums and make more money.

“It’s important that (Kaizer) Chiefs or (Orlando) Pirates win the League soon because that is good for business,” he said on SNAWA .

“To me, and I know I’m speaking against myself, but when Chiefs and Pirates isn’t up there, we (City) can feel the down, as a team that is not Chiefs or Pirates.

“When Chiefs and Pirates are winning, the stadiums are full, and it’s a snowball effect.”
