Kaizer Chiefs starlet joins Mamelodi Sundowns ahead of the start of 2024-2025 season for both clubs.
After the completion of the 2024 Engen Knockout Challenge Cup(Gauteng edition) at the Marks Park in Johannesburg, Sundowns has been chasing a couple of Chiefs players like Takalani Mazhamba, Kamohelo Dhlamini, and Kamohelo Mareletse.

This came after Amakhosi’s under-19 side lifted the Engen Knockout Challenge Cup beating Sundowns in the final 3-1.
With Dhlamini recently joining City, the Brazilians have landed one of their three targets, as according to Football Stage, Mareletse has joined the Chloorkop-based club.
“Kamohelo ‘Thepsie’ Mareletse (2008) has joined Mamelodi Sundowns from Kaizer Chiefs,” Football Stage stated.
The 16-year-old made his debut for Sundowns yesterday during a Gauteng Development League match against Sevens Academy.
“The talented young midfielder who recently won the Gauteng Engen Knockout Challenge with Kaizer Chiefs made his debut today against Sevens Academy,” Football Stage added.
Meanwhile, Masandawana hierarchy continues their chase for Mazhamba, who is seen as a future number one in Pretoria.
