Kaizer Chiefs is likely to receive a substantial amount of money for the possible sale of Siyabonga Ngezana by FCSB.
Ngezana completed a shock move from Amakhosi to the Romanian giants on a four-year deal with an option for a further at the end of the 2022-2023 season for what is reported to be around R11.9 million.

After a shaky start to life in Europe, the South African international went to guide FCSB to a first league title in nine years, being among the top players in the league and received a national team call-up in the last 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
The 26-year-old’s displays have seemingly not gone unnoticed, as after, French clubs showed interest in the lanky defender and failed to meet the €7 million(R139 million) valuation by FCSB president, Gigi Becali.
However, Azerbaijan club Neftchi Baku is said to have reached an agreement with FCSB to sign Ngezana and have also agreed on personal terms with the former Chiefs player according to KickOff.
“A report by Azerbaijani outlet Sports Info claims that Netfchi Baku are set to sign Ngezana from FCSB after negotiations with the parties involved went positively,” KickOff stated.
“It is reported that terms have been already agreed with the South African defender, and that the transfer remains undisclosed although it is said to be below the €7 million(R139 million) valuation the Romanian giants had on the player.”
Meanwhile, Amakhosi is set to receive 10% of the money FCSB makes on the sale of Ngezana, as they retained a 10% hold on the player should FCSB sell him in the future when he made his move from Naturena back in July 2023.
