The rivalry of Wydad Athletic Club head coach Rulani Mokwena and TS Galaxy FC head coach Sead Ramovic is set to continue in Morocco.
Sead Ramovic and Rulani Mokwena during 2023-2024 Dstv Premiership match between TS Galaxy FC and Mamelodi Sundowns at Mbombela Stadium in Mbombela, Mpumalanga.
The duo’s fierce battle began last year in October during a round of 16 clash in the Carling Knockout Cup at Mbombela Stadium, after the then Sundowns’ middlefielder Bongani Zungu broke Bernard Parker’s leg after a horrible tackle.

The two tacticians exchanged hostile words towards each through the media at every chance they get, with one instance leading to Mokwena accusing Ramovic of inciting revenge on Zungu after the middlefielder was injured during the first league match between the two clubs last season.
Mokwena said the German born reminded the players of the Parker and Zungu incident before the match, leading to Galaxy player targeting Zungu during the match.
Despite the middlefielder not finishing the match due to a horrible tackle from Orebotse Mongae, Galaxy demanded an apology from Mokwena before they decided to take legal action against him after he refused to apologized.
The heated rivalry continued during the pair’s last meeting last season in Mbombela, as after a high intense 1-1 draw Mokwena had to be physically stopped from attacking the German born coach, with the then Sundowns Strength and Conditioning Coach Sibusiso Mahlangu confronting Ramovic physically so.
During the post-match interview, Ramovic added more to the rivalry, suggesting that high spending Sundowns should buy Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi to beat his side.
While Mokwena contained himself and spoke about the match, and later parted ways with Sundowns and joined Morrocan and African giants Wydad Athletic Club.
With many thinking, the rivalry is over, Ramovic made fun of Mokwena, Sundowns, and Sundowns players when asked about the possibility of joining a Morrocan club, Raja Casablanca.
He stated that he didn’t want them to cry no more, as he made them cry by sending his counterpart to Morocco. However, the rivalry is set to continue in Morocco according to Unplayable.
Unplayable reports that Ramovic is close to becoming the Botola Pro head coach ahead of the new season after agreeing on a two-year deal with the Casablanca-based club.
“Sead Ramovic is on the verge of joining Raja Casablanca as Head Coach, Unplayable can confirm,” Unplayable stated on X.
“The current TS Galaxy coach will betravellingg to Morocco on Wednesday to sign a 2-year deal with Raja.”
