The attacker has taken to life in top tier of South African football like fish into water, as in his maiden season in the maiden Premier Division, he managed to guide Polokwane City to a top eight finish.
Finishing the 2023-2024 season with 36 points after 30 games to finish eight in the Dstv Premiership log table, while registering six goals and three assists in 29 matches in all competitions.
According to The Citizen, Chiefs is close to landing the 22-year-old’s signature after a month-long negotiations.
“From what I’ve been told, it’s just a matter of time before the deal is concluded. I will check again if he reported for training on Monday,” said our source.
“He might even stop training in order to conclude the Chiefs deal because they are serious about wrapping up the transfer, but the issue is about agreeing on a fee.”
However, despite the Limpopo-based club resigned to losing the attacker, they are reluctant to lose him for anything below the R5 million mark.
