After parting ways with Efmamjjasond Gonzalez, Njabulo Ngcobo, Keagan Dolly, Sfiso Hlanti, and Siyethemba Sithebe recently, the club is said to be in talks that would see Ashely Du Preez leave the club according to Soccer Laduma.
The publication reports that Portuguese club Victoria SC is in talks to sign the speedy attacker. However, they have been met with R30 million price-tag according to Soccer Laduma source.
“The Portuguese team is very serious about him. They have tabled their offer but Chiefs are(is) looking at no less than R30 million for his transfer and also there are other conditions and causes in the discussion of his move but the main one is about the R30 million asking fee from Chiefs. If Victoria SC meets that, then the move is on the cards,” the source said.
Meanwhile, the player’s agent, Michael Costa, also confirmed the European interest in the player, but also confirmed that there is no formal offer as of yet.
