Former Kaizer Chiefs middlefielder Siyethemba Sithebe linked with a possible return to his former club after Amakhosi exit.
Late last month, the club announced the departures of Keagan Dolly, Sfiso Hlanti, Efmamjjasond Gonzalez, and Siyethemba Sithebe after the end of their contracts at Naturena, as the club looks to rebuild squad ahead of next season.

Before the club could officially announce Sithebe’s departure from the club, they were rumours that the middlefielder could get a new deal after impressing in the latter stages of last season.
However, the middlefielder was shown the exit doors after three frustrating seasons at the club having joined Amakhosi back in 2021 from AmaZulu FC on a free transfer.
Despite leaving the KwaZulu-Natal based club in an unpleasant manner back in 2021, Usuthu is said to be interested in resigning the player according to Unplayable ZA.
“Siyethemba Sithebe is linked with a move to AmaZulu,” UnplayableZA said on X.
But the club faces a challenge from fellow Dstv Premiership side Chippa United, who is also interested in signing the 31-year-old on a free transfer.
“But there’s also interest from Chippa United,” UnplayableZA concluded.

Meanwhile, Usuthu extended the contract of another former Chiefs player, Ramahlwe Mphahlele, by another year, as the veteran defender’s contract expired on the 30th of June 2024, and his current deal ends on the 30th of June 2025.
