Legendary shot-stopper Itumeleng Khune appears to have sent a cryptic message to Kaizer Chiefs.
Towards the beginning of the 2023-2024 season, Amakhosi hierarchy gave Khune a final playing contract at the club(one-year deal), as they prepared him for a non-playing role from the end of his contract.

During the season, Khune lost his captaincy and was suspended after arriving at training under the influence of alcohol, but upon his return, the 37-year-old showed his desire to play beyond the deal the club gave him.
During his 25th year celebration at the club, he mentioned his desire to continue playing despite the club statement at the beginning of the season.
Bafana Bafana International is currently a free agent after his contract with the club ended at the end of the current campaign, but he is still in talks with the club over a new contract and possibly a new role.
However, Khune is currently not in the club’s plans going forward, leading to the goalkeeper sending a cryptic message rumoured to be directed to Chiefs.
He took to his Instagram story, @itukhune32, to send a message that looks to be directed to his former club.
“Be careful who you build with, because people will use you for the foundation and finish the structure with somebody else,” Khune

Meanwhile, the veteran goalkeeper is not short of suitors, as clubs like Sekhukhune United and Supersport United are said to be interested in his signature.
