TS Galaxy FC Dstv Diski Challenge head coach Bernard Parker sends a message to Kaizer Chiefs’ starlet ahead of the 2024-2025 season.
Towards the start of the 2023-2024 season, Chiefs was expected to promote Mfundo Vilakazi, Omega Mdaka, Puso Dithejane, and Donay Jansen to the first team, but only Vilakazi was promoted and given a long-term contract.

This came after the trio of Jansen, Mdaka, and Jansen were among youngsters who were suspended by the club after refusing to carry out ball-boy duties, subsequently leading to the departure of Dithejane(who has joined TS Galaxy) and Mdaka.
Despite being frozen out for months at the club, Jansen returned and got his chance in the first team towards the end of the season, playing the club’s last two matches of the season.
After impressing in training with the first team for most of last season, the youngster is set to be part of the first team this season, something that has left his uncle, Parker proud.
The Chiefs legend took to his Instagram account, @bernard_parker_25, to share a heartfelt message to his nephew accompanied by images of him with the youngster throughout his years at the club leading up to his maiden season with Amakhosi’s first team.
“Dreams do come true. Good luck for the new season with the senior team. Live Your Dream To The Fullest,” Parker stated on Instagram.
The 20-year-old nicknamed after his uncle, Die Hond, thanked the former Bafana Bafana legendary attacker for the role he has played and the opportunity he is getting at Naturena.
“Thank you so much for everything, uncle, toga. I’m really grateful for this opportunity, my legend,” Jansen replied.

Meanwhile, Mamelodi Sundowns senior coach Steve Komphela also commented, telling Parker to be proud of himself in which replied by saying he is proud.
“Be proud of yourself,” Komphela commented.
