Dillan Solomons, Mduduzi Mdantsane, George Matlou, Tebogo Potsane, and Ashley Du Preez were all left in the country as the club head to Europe for the second leg of pre-season, but latter went on to join the club in Turkey after recovering from a foot injury.
The club later went on to confirm the injuries to Solomons, Mdantsane, Matlou, and Potsane, which were later joined by Edmilson Dove and new signing Bongani Sam in the ever growing injury list at Naturena.
However, the club appears to have received a major injury boast ahead of next season, as injured Kaizer Chiefs defender Solomons is back in full training ahead of pre-season tour to Botswana.
The former now-defunct Moroka Swallows fullback was spotted among Chiefs players in training at the club’s village in Naturena on Thursday, the 1st of August 2024.
