Chippa United is said to be close to signing Mamelodi Sundowns defender ahead of the 2024-2025 season.
With the Brazilians set to kick off their season this upcoming Sunday against Polokwane City in the quarterfinals of the MTN8, the club is still active in the market.

The club is said to be in talks with Chippa United over the left fullback Malebogo Modise, who impressed out on loan at the club last season, according to Soccer Laduma.
“After releasing most of their players at the end of last season, they don’t have a left back like Molebogo and that’s why they are talking to Mamelodi Sundowns to sign him permanently,” Soccer Laduma source stated.
“You know, last season he was on loan, and the technical team was happy with his services.
“At first, they wanted him to return on loan, but now they want him on a full-time basis as their player.”

The 25-year-old South African international played 17 matches for the Chilli Boys last season across all competitions and is expected to move to Chippa given the competition in the left fullback position in Chloorkop.
