So far, the club has parted ways with six players, namely, Bongani Zungu, Brian Onyango Mandela, Thabiso Kutumela, Gaston Sirino, Junior Mendieta, and Jerome Karelse and more are expected to leave before the start of the new season.
One of those players is right fullback, Nyiko Mobbie, who is in talks to part-ways with the club on a permanent basis according to his agent Mike Makaab.
Makaab also confirmed to FarPost that the 29-year-old still has two years left on his contract and will look to complete his move before the start of the new season.
“Nyiko Mobbie still has two years left on his existing contract at Mamelodi Sundowns, but he’ll probably complete a permanent move this window,” Makaab told FARPost.
Having been out on loan to more than four clubs since joining Masandawana back in 2018 from now-defunct Free State Stars, Mobbie feels it’s time to move, as he has limited chances to play at Chloorkop.
