Some of the changes saw players like Gaston Sirino, Junior Mendieta, and Thabiso Kutumela leave the club while Brazilian striker Arthur Sales joined the club.

Despite the club’s early transfer dealings, more dealings are expected to take place before the season the transfer window market closes later next month.

According to Goal SA, young Sundowns star Thando Buthelezi is on the brink of completing a loan move to fellow Betway Premiership club, as the youngster is already training with the KwaZulu-Natal based club.

“Thando (Buthelezi) is already training with Richards Bay. The two clubs are finalising the loan deal,” Goal SA source stated.

The 21-year-old is set to be followed out of the club by Sammy Seabi and Siyanda Nyanga, as the former has been offered to Chippa United for a loan spell(he has already been at Chippa on loan twice before), while the latter is set to leave the club on permanent basis as he is not in Mngqithi’s plans.
