Mamelodi Sundowns middlefielder Matias Esquivel Joins Argentinean top division club, Athlético Telleres, on a season-long loan.
The diminutive left-footed middlefielder joined the Brazilians on a four-and-a-half deal worth around $2.5 million(R46.7 million) in January this year from Club Athlético Lanús after an impressive loan stint at Telleres.

However, just after seven months at Chloorkop, the 25-year-old has returned back to his home land of Argentina to rejoin Telleres on another loan spell as confirmed by the club.
Early today in the morning, the Argentinean side announced that the middlefielder has rejoined the club on a season-long loan from Sundowns and has already started training with the club.
“Matías Esquivel, un conocido del Club que regresa en una Temporada de triple competencia, es nuevo refuerzo y se integra a la institución por el lapso de un año,” the club stated on its website.
Which translates to “Matías Esquivel, a well-known member of the Club who is returning for a triple competition season, is a new reinforcement and joins the institution for a period of one year,” the club stated on its website.

Meanwhile, Sundowns is set to complete the signing of Iqraam Rayners from Stellenbosch FC after triggering his release clause.
However, the player’s off-field conduct could delay the club from unveiling him.
