Ahead of the 2024-2025 pre-season camp in Turkey, Amakhosi’s coaching staff led by Nasreddine Nabi invited a handful of youngsters from the club’s reserve team to train with the first-team in hope taking some to Turkey with the first-team.

Among the youngsters training, it was the 20-year-old middlefielder Siphesihle Tati, who has been with the club’s reserve team for well over two seasons.

However, despite his experience in the youth ranks at the club, the youngster did not travel with the squad to Turkey due to visa issues, according to our source near the club.

Not traveling to Europe with the first-team is said to have dishearted the youngster who has decided to take quit football temporarily to focus on education, according to Supersport TV analyst Karabo Phasha.

“Sephisihle Tati, my heart bleeds for him. I’m told he has decided to pause his footballing career for education,” Phasha stated on X.

“Hopefully, he comes back to the game; a beautiful talent Bafo.”

Meanwhile, his former teammates in the reserve team, Mfundo Vilakazi, Nkosana Mbuthu, Mduduzi Shabalala, and Samkelo Zwane are expected to play a huge role in the first-team this season.
