Orlando Pirates starlet Relebohile Mofokeng is backed for a European move amid interest from European clubs.
The youngster has been one of the best players in the top-tier of South African football ever since being promoted from the Buccaneers’ reserve team midway the 2022-2023 season.

The 19-year-old has managed to score six goals and provide seven assists in 40 games he has played ever since promoted to the first, while also winning three trophies, two Nedbank Cups, and an MTN8 trophy in the process.
After a fantastic season that ended with him winning PSL Young Player of the Season and Nedbank Cup most promising player, his teammate Deon Hotto feels the youngster is ready to move to Europe.
Speaking to media during the club’s official unveiling of the 2024-2025 home and away jerseys, Hotto expressed how the youngster is ready for European football.
“We as senior players, we will keep him grounded, keep his head in the game, his head must be on the prize, we try to help him to kick on where he left off and just to put in more effort, especially in the final third,” Hotto said.
“There’s times where we just need him to put the ball in the net, then he takes another touch and that’s where we come in and guide him to say, the first moment you get, try to finish it, just like the one he did in the final, one-two and then finish.
“For sure, he is ready to go overseas. Why not? He is… in my view I think he is ready, to be honest, when we went to Spain now you saw how he competed against Sevilla, against Granada, big teams, big names and he played as he was here in the PSL, so for me I think he is ready to be honest.”
Bafana Bafana International is linked with Wolverhampton Wanderers(he had a trial stint with the club last year), Glasgow Rangers, and several English second division clubs.

He is among the top players at the club, and the Sea Robbers will most likely look to keep him for a further season or two.
