The Premier Soccer League(PSL) confirms the fixture for the 2024-2025 Motsepe Foundation Championship(MFC).
The second division of South African football gets underaway on Friday, 23rd of August, with two matches.

The first match will see Black Leopards travel to Gqeberha to take on the newly promoted promoted side Highbury FC at the Isaac Wolfson Stadium. Before later that evening, Durban City FC hosts Castric Stars at Charlesworth Stadium.
“The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has officially confirmed the fixtures for the 2024/25 Motsepe Foundation Championship season,” PSL stated in its statement.
“The season will kick off on the weekend of 23, 24, and 25 August 2024. The opening weekend will feature two matches on Friday, 23 August, including a highly anticipated clash between newly promoted Highbury FC and the Limpopo giants, Black Leopards. Saturday, 24 August, will see four matches played, with two more scheduled for Sunday, 25 August.
“The Motsepe Foundation Championship season is set to conclude on Saturday, 18 May 2025,” the statement concluded.

The pick of the opening weekend’s matches sees Baroka FC welcome Orbit College FC at the Global Stadium in Lebowakgomo and the University of Pretoria FC hosting Cape Town Spurs at the Tuks Stadium in Pretoria.
Baroka and Orbit were in the running for promotion last season with the former finishing last in the PSL Promotion Playoffs, while Tuks who were also in the Promotion Playoffs faces the returning Spurs side that finished last in the Premier Division last season.
