European Club Submits An Offer For Ashley Du Preez – Reports

A European-based club is said to have submitted an offer for Kaizer Chiefs star attacker Ashley Du Preez ahead of the 2024-2025 season.

Earlier last month, Chiefs travelled to Türkiye for pre-season without the attacker as many thought it was due to a foot injury he was carrying from last season.

However, our source near the player reveals that he had a proposed move to the Portuguese side, Victoria SC, which didn’t go through allowing him to join his teammates in Instabul.

Just over a month later, Soccer Laduma states that the Portuguese side is said to have submitted another offer for the speedy attacker.

“The Portuguese club is sure about Ashley (Du Preez), they have now made an offer for his transfer,” Soccer Laduma states.

“But at the moment, it’s the Sporting Director who is dealing with that, so it’s hard to know how much the offer is right now.

“But the interest is strong, and it will depend on the negotiations, and he could be moving before the transfer window closes.”

However, the deal is unlikely to happen due to Chiefs’ struggles in the market to add quality players, especially attackers.

The club is currently in search of a top striker with Pyramids FC star striker Fiston Mayele, their premier target.
