Mamelodi Sundowns star hands joins Botola Pro League side Wydad Athletic Club.
After an average season due to their high standards, Sundowns made changes to the club’s first-team squad, as the likes of Gaston Sirino, Brian Mandela Onyango, Junior Mendieta, Bongani Zungu, and Thabiso Kutumela left the club.

The departures of the players alongside that of Rulani Mokwena and the arrivals of the likes of Kobamelo Kodisang, Arthur Sales, and Asekho Tiwani has led to Abdelmounaim Boutouil to terminating his contract with Sundowns.
The 26-year-old was said to be unhappy with the departure of Mokwena and homesick, opening doors to reuniting with the 37-year-old tactician in Morocco.
Wydad Athletic Club has signed the versatile defender on a two-year deal with an option for a further year.

He is likely to be followed out of the club by Abubeker Nasir, as the club is looking to cut down two foreign players ahead of the new season to meet the league’s foreign qouta of five.
Currently, they have five foreign players in their squad, namely Lucas Ribeiro Costa, Marcelo Allende, Arthur Sales, Nasir Abubeker, and Erwin Saavedra.
