Kaizer Chiefs star heads to Europe, as the club starts their preparations for the upcoming 2024-2025 season.
Amakhosi headed to Europe for the first part of their 2024-2025 pre-season this past Thursday without five players due to injuries.

Mduduzi Mdantsane(unspecified injury and will miss the whole pre-season), Tebogo Potsane(groin injury), Lehlohonolo George Matlou(knee injury), Dillan Solomons(shoulder injury), and Ashley Du Preez(foot injury) were all left behind to rehabilitate their respective injuries with the club’s medical team.
However, less than 48 hours in Instabul, Turkey, the club is set to be joined by star attacker Du Preez after he recovered from his foot injury in time to join the club’s training session under new head coach Nasreddine Nabi as confirmed by Unplayable.
Unplayable stated on X that “Kaizer Chiefs striker Ashley Du Preez has travelled to Turkey to join the team, Unplayable can confirm.”
While also confirming that it’s source close to the club and the player revealed that the former Stellenbosch FC attacker has recovered from his injury and he will train with the team upon arrival.
“He’s okay. He’s recovered from the injury, so he’ll be training,” says Unplayable source.

Meanwhile, the club has officially announced the arrival of the new head coach, Nabi, and the Tunisian is expected to take charge of his first training session tomorrow.
