With Amakhosi over a month from starting their 2024-2025 season, the club continues to put its players to paces with high calibre friendly matches.

The latest high-profile friendly match was against Girobola(Angolan Top Division League) side, G.D. Sagrada Esperança, which is currently in South Africa, is preparing for the upcoming season.
Esparança finished second in the Girobola with 61 points after 28 matches six points behind Petro de Luanda in first position, and where expected to provide Nasreddine Nabi’s side with much needed challenge from a top team.
On the day, the Naturena-based club registered a 1-0 victory thanks to a goal from inspirational captain Yusuf Maart, while Gaston Sirino made his unofficial debut as per Micky Jnr.
“Kaizer Chiefs beat G.D. Sagrada Esperança from Angola 1-0 in a friendly played today,” Micky Jnr stated on X.
“The goal was scored by Yusuf Maart, and today, Sirino played.”
