Amakhosi’s reserve continues with their preparations for the upcoming 2024-2025 Dstv Diski Challenge at the club’s village in Naturena, Phefeni.

Among the young players who have reported for pre-season in the reserve team is the club’s first-team defender, Aden McCarthy.
The club shared images of the players in training at the village on their youth Instagram account, @kaizerchiefsyouth.
Meanwhile, McCarthy had a failed stint in Europe with Sheriff Tiraspol last month before joining the club’s senior team in Instabul, Turkey, late last month before returning to the country with club.
Upon his arrival in the country, he was among six players linked with a possible loan move away from Naturena.
However, he seems to be set to spend another season with the reserve team in the DDC, having spent the last few seasons.

The 20-year-old was joined by Siphesihle Tati in training with the reserve team after he was said to have decided to temporarily quit football to focus on his education.
