After suffering a horrible injury after a horrible tackle from former Mamelodi Sundowns middlefielder Bongani Zungu, during a Carling Black Label Knockout Cup Round of 16 clash last season, Bernard Parker’s playing career was thought to be over.

But the 38-year-old made a shocking return to the field of play towards the end of the current season, coming on as a substitute during a Dstv Premiership match against Sundowns.
However, his 20-plus-year playing career appears to be over, as after he was released by TS Galaxy after the expiration of his contract, he has landed a coaching job according to Unplayable.
Unplayable reports that the legendary attacker is TS Galaxy’s new Dstv Diski Challenge(reserve side) head coach starting from the upcoming season.
“Bernard Parker has been appointed the Head Coach of TS Galaxy’s Diski Challenge team,” Unplayable stated on X.
