The Buccaneers are no different, as the MTN8 and Nedbank Cup champions have to decide on the future of more than four players at the club.

Among those players, it’s Bafana international, Thabang Monare, who is in his final two months of his contract at the club.

According to Idiski Times, the 34-year-old is likely to leave the Sea Robbers when his contract ends at the end of the season.

The former Jomo Cosmos and now-defunct Bidvest Wits middlefielder has struggled to break into Pirates’ matchday squad since returning from AFCON.

With on-loan Supersport United middlefielder, Thalenthe Mbatha set to make his move to Pirates permanent, Dash is expected to leave.

However, the experienced middlefielder is not short of suitors as both Supersport and Kaizer Chiefs are said to be interested in signing him.
