Mamelodi Sundowns hierarchy reaches out to TS Galaxy FC to resolve the war of words between Rulani Mokwena and Sead Ramovic.

The two have been at it since their first meeting last season, but the animosity between the two reached a new high during their last meeting.

Following a 3-0 victory over Galaxy at Loftus Versfeld last month, Mokoena accused Ramovic of inciting revenge on Bongani Zungu, stating that the Galaxy players were shown a video of Zungu injuring veteran middlefielder, Bernard Parker earlier this season which left Parker with a broken foot.
Parker missed six months of action and played part in the defeat while also missing a penalty after a brilliant save from Ronwen Williams.
Meanwhile, Mokoena didn’t hold back after Zungu was injured by what he claimed as a “retaliatory” tackle from Orebotse Mongae.
“I was informed last night that the opposition coach showed the tackle Zungu made on Bernard Parker, essentially saying, ‘Don’t forget what Bongani Zungu did.’,” Mokwena told Supersport TV after the match.
His comments didn’t sit well with Ramovic and Galaxy hierarchy, who responded with fury calling the 37-year-old tactician a liar and demanded proof of his accusations or apologies publicly, or they take the matter further.
After the matter seemingly died down, it has been reported by Sports Wire that the Sundowns hierarchy led by Yogesh Signh has reached out to TS Galaxy and Tim Sukazi to try and resolve the issue.
However, the clubs are yet to meet and discuss a way forward due to their busy schedule.
Despite the setback in talks, the two clubs will meet later today in their second clash of the 2023/2024 Dstv Premiership season at Mbombela Stadium.
