Al Ahly SC and Bafana Bafana star attacker Percy Tau is believed to be ignoring Kaizer Chiefs after the club showed its interest in his signature.

The 30-year-old attacker is one of the talked about players in African football, as he is involved with contractual issues with Egyptian giants Al Ahly.

The two parties are looking for a way for the attacker to leave the club this transfer window with both parties satisfied, but have found it difficult to reach an agreement.
Tau’s contract at the club ends at the end of next season, and he is looking for the club to pay him his full salary to partways with the club while Al Ahly is looking to offload him this window.
One of the clubs the African champions are looking to offload the former Mamelodi Sundowns attacker to is Chiefs.
The Naturena-based has been linked with the South African international this whole window, and have since made contact with the player through his team as confirmed by the club’s team manager Gerard Sibeko through Elbalasport.
However, Tau is yet to respond to Amakhosi’s interest in him as his saga with Al Ahly continues.
“We certainly want to sign Percy Tau, based on the coach’s request,” Sibeko told Elbalasport.
“Unfortunately, Percy Tau doesn’t want to take our call.
“We called him today as well, and he did not want to respond to us.”

Wydad Athletic Club along with a few Gulf region clubs are also interested in signing Tau this window.
Meanwhile, Chiefs continues to be active in the market, as the likes of Fawaaz Basadien, Riaan Hanamub, and Fiston Mayele are linked with a possible move to Naturena.
