Former Kaizer Chiefs star fails to impress at a Dstv Premiership club after training with the club for over a week.

After parting ways with AmaZulu FC in January this year, Sibusiso Mabiliso has been looking for a club to join ahead of the 2024-2025 season.

The 25-year-old South African headed to the north in Limpopo to train with newly-promoted Magesi FC under the watchful eye of the club’s head coach, Clinton Larsen.

However, after over a week of training with the club in the hope of landing a deal, Mabiliso has failed to impress the coaching staff alongside former now-defunct Moroka Swallows defender Wandile Letlabika.

Meanwhile, another former Chiefs player, Kgaogelo Sekgota, is close to signing on dotted lines after impressing during his week and a half trial stint at the club.

Magesi is also said to be looking to sign Lebohang Mabotja, as the left fullback has also impressed the technical team after parting ways with Sekhukhune United at the end of last season.

More players with Dstv Premiership experience are expected to trial at the club in the next coming weeks before the start of the 2024-2025 season.
